Live on Brighton… A band that could very easily be sponsored by eHarmony. And not just because none of the guys can keep a girl friend, but for the fact that all three of these guys met online…. That’s right…..
Back in 2009 front man Jeff Fero decided to escape the audio engineering field, and get back to playing, so he went straight to everyone’s favorite site, Craigslist. Drummer Kris Scott had coincidentally posted an ad about moving to town and needing a band. But he clearly stated if you had long hair and lived in your moms basement playing guitar more than 6hrs a day, he was not interested. So Jeff got a haircut and moved out so he could contact Kris.
It took a year of trying out third and fourth members over and over again before they realized their problem… they didn’t try the internet! So Jeff went back the interweb and found Harrison Crerar on a local musicians classified site. Jeff then asked Harrison if he would like to come to the house on Brighton Rd and sing strange songs with even stranger strangers. Harrison said yes.
None of them turned out to be pedophiles, or murderers, or anything of that nature.
The boys have played a ton of shows since the release of their first EP, “Octaves and Whoas” which is available on iTunes, and don’t plan to stop the touring… EVER!!
You should expect to see Live on Brighton at a venue near you! There are big plans, and big things up and coming for Live on Brighton, the sky aint’ even the limit for these ambitious young men. They’re currently on the road playing as many gigs as they can possibly grasp, they’re kicking in drums, spewing out melodies, shredding strings and stealing hearts anywhere and everywhere they can.
Live on Brighton are your staple ‘party rock’ band who’s simple motto is to be “playing good music to good people with good friends” and it is with this endearing trait that the charm of this three piece prevails.
