Another Live Drive event presented by CKXU as part of the annual FUNdrive.

As part of CKXU's annual FUNdrive, CKXU and the Slice will be presenting an evening of local bands playing covers. This year's theme? 80s Movie Soundtracks! Each band has chosen a different movie and will be playing sweet, sweet tunes from the soundtrack.

Bands and the movies they will be covering:
Exexxx - "Real Genius"
Sophmore Jakes - "Top Gun"
(the band formerly known as...) - "Purple Rain"
Unicron - "The Transformers : The Movie"
Smell the Glove - "This is Spinal Tap"

Each band will also be dressed up as characters from their movie. Feel free to join them as your favourite 80s movie character or simply dress in 80s garb. Prizes will be awarded for great costumes.
