Bring Fire, hailing from Calgary, Alberta is an up and coming act guaranteed to leave a lasting impression with the audience. Taking stage with a high energy show, Bring Fire is a far cry from the industry standard “Indie rock band,” combining intricate guitar riffs, predominant bass licks from bassist Nate Wry, and fast, technical drumming from drummer Michael Young. The music is packaged together nicely with consequential lyrics written by front man Distance Bullock. Having been involved in Calgary’s music scene for nearly a decade, the trio are driven by their collective passion evident in their songwriting. Owl is Lethbridge’s newest Lounge in the same building which had Mood, Squeaky’s Pub before and O Riley’s before that. They feature live acoustic music and excellent food. |
