On August 5, 2011, George Pettit announced the break-up of one of the
most influential, original bands of our generation, Alexisonfire.
Lightworker is pleased to present "We Are The Sound: Alexisonfire
Tribute Show" on September 1, 2012 at the Moose Hall in Lethbridge,
Alberta.
We are dedicating this night to the music, emotions,
and inspirations that Alexisonfire has brought to so many people
throughout their career. From the
die-hard
fans who were there at the beginning, to those who have just discovered
them, we want everyone to come together and celebrate the life and love
that was Alexisonfire. Everyone is encouraged to wear their
Alexisonfire merchandise and to share their stories of "The Only Band
Ever".
Doors open at 6:30 with tickets priced at $10. We will
be announcing the 2 opening bands as soon as possible, so everyone "Get
Fighted"! This will definitely be a night to remember!
