We open our 2013-2014 Master Series with a sweeping journey to Scotland as violinist John Lowry joins the LSO for Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy, a composition for violin and orchestra that features many prominent Scottish folk melodies. We complete the program with an experience: Sibelius’s triumphant and logically composed Third Symphony.
