All year, the first
Friday night of each month has been comedy night at Average Joe’s Sports
Bar in downtown Lethbridge when the Yuk Yuk’s comedy club takes over
the stage in Joe’s Garage. December 6th will be the final show for this
year. The laughter starts with opener Jeff Kubic. Jeff is a nerdy
Calgarian who in his own words presents “ stand-up comedy for the
alternative mind”. He is brave enough to play in the gutter, smart
enough to know what he is doing there and nice enough to feel a little bit guilty about it.
Headlining the show will be Vancouver’s Sam Easton. Sam is a natural
born comedian who won the Canadian Comedy Award for Best New Comic
before his 22nd birthday. His edgy, high energy style of humour has
been sought after ever since. Besides his stand-up comedy Sam is an
established actor who has had roles in numerous movies including Taken,
The Butterfly Effect and Final Destination 3. His own 1 hour television
special has aired on both CTV and the Comedy Network.
