BIO:
Doom Squad is a Hip Hop group from Edmonton, AB consisting of 3 artists; Kryple, NineLivez & Trippz
The group has been together since the end of 2010 and has already
gained a huge fan base across Canada & the rest of the world. They
have opened for almost every big Hip Hop artist that has come to
Edmonton in the last 4 years, and have performed well over 150 shows
across Canada, and numerous reputable music festivals.
Doom Squad has released 3 projects as a group so far, the first being a
mixtape titled ‘Countdown To Doomsday’ in December of 2013. Just a
little over a year later they released their first album titled ‘The
Proper Project’ in January of 2014 with the release of their single
& video Captain Chronic.
In February of 2014 Doom Squad
started their ‘Monthly Cyphers’ which is a cypher style music video that
features a different Edmonton hip hop artist every month. On Christmas
Day 2014 they released another mixtape titled “The Monthly Cypher
Mixtape” consisting the audio of every cypher released in 2014 and is
available for free online.
Currently the Squad is working on
separate solo projects as well as the ‘Countdown To Doomsday 2’ mixtape
which is set to be released in the Fall.
Kryple, NineLivez
& Trippz are all also established solo artists and have all competed
on the KOTD stage in the battle rap format. With their high energy
stage performance, clean & passionate sound, and machine like work
ethic, Doom Squad has only good things in their future and will likely
be one of the top names in Canadian hip hop, if not the world very soon.
