As a founding member, Alyssa helped establish a YWCA Girls’ Club in Lethbridge which has expanded to include chapters in cities across Canada. Alyssa was recently appointed the GirlSpace ambassador for the YWCA.

While no definitive measurements are possible, Alyssa’s past and present support of anti-bullying campaigns and Kid’s Help Phone campaigns has hopefully made a difference to at least some teenagers and young adults.

Further, her contribution to causes such as Breast Cancer research, International Women’s Day, Red Cross and so on, has made her a sought-after participant at many of the events sponsored by these causes.

2 p.m. – Nicole Donaghy-Hughes (pop)
2:30 p.m. – Kelliane ( pop)
http://www.kelliane.com/watch.html

Kelliane is Southern Alberta's freshest recording / performing artist. Her start in the music business came at only age five, when she began competing in the Kiwanis Music Festival as a soprano soloist. After winning first place for three consecutive years, as well as the Mary Bigelow Scholarship, it was obvious that music would become her life. Growing up in a small town she pursued music through every available venue. She sang at church in the choir and as a soloist, she played clarinet in the school band, she played drums in the High School Jazz Band, and she was a soloist in both the Raymond High School Show Choir and the Raymond High School Jazz Ensemble.

After graduation, Kelliane pursued singing full time, singing music of every genre including pop, rock, and country. After performing at events such as Whoop Up Days, Taber Cornfest, and the Canada Day Party in the Park at Henderson Lake, she entered local competitions and was the 1st Runner Up at Lethbridge Idol, and the 1st Place winner at Cardston Pop Idol. After seeing her perform at Lethbridge Idol, Ron Sakamoto allowed her to sing an opening number at the Keith Urban/Carolyn Dawn Johnson/Jimmy Rankin concert a month later. After performing that night in front of the sold-out Enmax Centre, she moved to Calgary and secured management, under whom she opened for country artists Duane Steel and Brad Johner.

In recent years, Kelliane's voice has also caught the attention of Grammy Award Winning Producer/Songwriter Ian Prince. With him she has recorded commercial jingles for the Kinsmen Dream Home Lottery, LCC, Uniglobe and Herbal Magic as well as seven professional demo singles. Mr. Prince has labeled her "one to watch."

Kelliane has a deep love of travel, and her voice has taken her across the world. Most memorably, she had the incredible opportunity to entertain Canadian and International soldiers for three weeks on the Royal Canadian Legion tour to Kandahar, Afghanistan with recording artists Julian Austin, Matt Minglewood, and Diane Chase. After landing back in Canada, she signed a six month contract to perform as a soloist in Asia with a Philippine band, touring in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines.

Now that she is home from her Asian tour, she has put together a Canadian band playing current Top 40 Pop, Rock, Dance, Classic, and R&B songs. She spends her spare time writing original music, and volunteering as the choir director for her church. She also donates her talents annually to the Care From the Heart Telethon, a fundraiser which raises money for needed medical supplies and equipment in the Lethbridge area. She is currently in the studio recording her debut album scheduled to be released April 30, 2010.

http://www.lethbridgeband.com/

Diversified is a six piece band. Previously known as Egos & Attitudes, we started off as a band put together in the fall of 2013, by Sheldon Arvay from G.S. Lakie Middle School on the west side of Lethbridge. Over the course of the past few years, we've had some members come and go, but a strong core has remained. Lauren (the lead singer), Tristan (lead guitarist) and Alissa (the bassist) have been with the band from the beginning. Myla (keyboardist) joined shortly after the band was formed. Max (drummer) joined in the summer of 2015 and Ryleigh (rhythm guitarist) joined in the fall of 2015. We play rock & roll music from the 50's to more current music that you hear on the radio. We have played in many shows including Rock Show 2 & 3 at G.S. Lakie Middle School; Gatorstock at G.S. Lakie Middle School; Relay for Life, in Taber, Lethbridge and for the University of Lethbridge; West Fest; 100 mile ride & several other private parties as well.
Don't let our young ages fool you, we can rock with the best of them!!
