Imagine the perfect summer party mix, spun by the ultimate hype-DJ.
Goodbye Beatdown is a band of four Langley boys who manage to bring the best elements of a summer party to the stage and speakers all year round with their mix of hip-hop, rock, blues, folk, soul and reggae. The band’s fusion of styles and manic energy is leaving ripples in the stream of popular music around B.C., and will soon be bringing the party across Canada and all over the world.
The band consisting of Vocalist “Dizzy” Dustin Overhill, Drummer Brani Shibilev and Guitarist Sean Simpson, once known as Critical Element, changed the name to Goodbye Beatdown with the addition of new bass player Mark Luongo (formerly of the Daniel Wesley band). As Critical Element, the band released their first full-length studio album entitled, “Believe Us” in June 2008.
Goodbye Beatdown is set to release their first full-length studio album, with the new name and lineup, Summer 2009.
