Immanuel Christian High School Choir, Aeiriis Brass quintet, with Mary Lee Voort on organ
For the 8th year, Moja kwa Moja is fundraising for a Compassion Canada Child Survival Project that we support in Mombasa Kenya. This program supports 50 moms and their babies from the time the mother is pregnant, until the child turns 1. The child then graduates into our sponsorship program, making way for another mother to join the program.
This year Southern Accord will not be with us as we attempt to switch up from year to year and help as many local groups as we can to their talents while supporting this amazing program. This year the Immanuel Christian High School Chorus, the U of L Global Drums and Aeris Brass Quintet with Mary Lee Voort on organ will be performing. The public is invited to come and there is no admission cost, but a freewill offering will be taken. The venue will again be Trinity United Reform Church on 40th Ave North. Last year over 800 people attended and we have every reason to believe that this year we will fill all 1000 seats available.
