Hippodrome keeps the crowd dancing

E-mail Print PDF

A decent crowd danced up a storm, as per usual, when Hippodrome hit the Slice stage, Nov. 12.Hippodrome’s Juran Greene having the time of his life. Photo by Richard Amery
They played a rock solid set of R and B and disco music including  crowd favourites “I will Survive,” and ’60s pop like “My Girl.” and “Everyday People.”

Erica Hunt, Juran Greene and Shawna Romolliwa  and the band  sang beautiful vocal harmonies, with each tof them  singing lead for a song.

Greene, ever the charismatic frontman, as always, looked like he couldn’t be happier than he he was on stage, grinning ear to ear and bringing the party to the crowd.

They were called back for an encore of Chic’s “Good Times.”
