Planet Telex played the Owl, April 21, but though I missed them, I caught a pleasant surprise — Calgary’s Go For the Eyes.
The upbeat rock quartet jumped all over the stage, the keyboardist sang beautifully and the bassist added a touch of funk to the proceedings.
They had a touch of Red Hot Chili Peppers in their sound and they even had a drum solo as they beamed ear to ear and roared through their set.
