In addition to playing shows of their own, the Saskatoon born, Vancouver based rock band have also supported bands like Buck Cherry and Crash Karma.

Guitarist Adam Hicks is looking forward to other bigger shows on the tour including opening slots with the Trews to begin their tour and opening for Airbourne in the fall.

“ We’re  going to Quebec and the Maritimes with them, which is new territory  for us. We’re excited to play with an top tier band like Airbourne,” said Hicks.

“We won’t get back to B.C. until August,” he said adding the band is wrapped up in activities related to the new, untitled CD.

“We’re busy. We’ve got to pick the new single and come up with a concept for the video and we’ve got to do a  photo shoot in L.A,” he said.

The band is excited about the new CD which they recorded in Vancouver with Eric Ratz, who has worked with bands like Monster Truck,  Big Wreck, Danko Jones and the Cancer Bats.

“He was really interested in. He wanted to capture what we sound like live,” he said.

So it’s very straight forward. There’s no frills  in it,” he continued. It captures us just as we are.”

He said they plan torelease the new CD in the Fall and in the meantime will be playing some of the new songs.

They always look forward to coming back to Lethbridge.
“The Wild are great guys from Kelowna. They like to have a good time. We’ve got some new music. So it will be great,” he said.
They play a pre-Canada bash at Scores, June 30 with the Wild. Tickets cost $20 in advance.
