All about the art on Saturday with new exhibitions opening at casa, SAAG and Trianon

 Numerous new exhibitions open at casa, SAAG and Trianon Gallery tonight, Saturday, Jan. 27.

 

 The eight new exhibitions opening at casa tonight include  Craig Talbot’s “Lift with Your Knees” and Marianne Gerlinger’s  “Revealing Though Reflection.”

Debra Schultz’s “it's not just me, it's everybody” is in the Project Space.

 

The Concourse Gallery features  “September”  by Sandrine Coronat.

 The Passage Gallery features Sandra Lamouche’s “Iskwew.”

 

“Food” is the focus of Adam Essex‘s  exhibit in the Focus Gallery.

 

Platform featuresFlat Circle” by  Amanda Sylvester and the Saokitap Gallery features “Kah’kano’kitopi Saatstakssin”  by Sikapinakii Low Horn.

 

 Casa artist in residence Jenn Kitagawa hosts an open house, Jan. 27 from 7-9 p.m. in the 2D Studio as part of the opening reception.

The casa exhibits run until March 23.

The Southern Alberta Art  Gallery also opens new exhibits tonight from 6-8 p.m.  “Structural Integrity” curated by Noa Bronstein featuring artists Caroline Bonnet, Christine Howard Sandoval and Erdem Taşdelen is at the SAAG. A Malevolently Bad Map” by Bridget Moser is also at the SAAG.

Down the street, the Trianon Gallery opens a new exhibit from Casa artist-in-residence Elyse Longair at  8:30 p.m.
