Canadian born pop and rnb signer RAGHAV has been making strides all
over the world since 2007 when he emerged on the radar when the Globe
& Mail profiled him as one of "Canada's best kept secrets in the
arts".
At 17, Raghav’s love of music took him to Los Angeles
and vocal training with Seth Riggs (vocal coach for Madonna and Michael
Jackson) and one year later he moved to Liverpool England where he
studied at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. It was during
this time that he joined an R&B band called 11/7, which led to his
MOBO Award nomination. His music was
once described as “South Asian-flavoured U.S. R&B music with hip-hop
flourishes”, but looking forward he sees himself as a mainstream artist
with a cross between Pop , Motown and the AC sounds of Bruno Mars – who
still remains a South Asian Icon around the world.
With
massive support internationally, and millions of albums sold to boot,
Raghav will make his first appearance in Lethbridge on November 28!
