The former Calgary herald Entertainment writer and editor has also been recording since 1975. He plays original avant garde jazz music on guitar and banjo which is influenced by everything from rap to rock and lately a lot of folk and blues. He has collaboratedwith the likes of John Zorn, Camper Van Beethoven, Jello Biafra, They Might Be Giants and Sun
City Girls among many others.
