Out of the chaotic roar of the embattled,
yet still burgeoning Vancouver metal scene it seems that many voices
are heard, but few are clearly distinct; one of the clearest, though,
must be the voice of Burnaby-based Tribune. Likened to "a more evil God
Forbid" by Absolute Underground reviewer Mike Gignac, Tribune
nonetheless maintain "...an army of hooks and a high degree of
accessibility." Appreciative of varying styles of music, the members of
Tribune blend multiple differing musical visions into a cohesive, unique
sound which is undeniably heavy metal and still carries powerful enough
melodies to appeal to fans of other genres. Riding high on the 2009
release of their Corpse Corrosion Music EP, Rotting Core, Tribune is
preparing for Rottingtour, their 2010 tour of Western Canada, which will
hit the road in September.
