Who is Hashmagandy  ....

Formed in August 2009 as a studio group to complete a recording project, things took on a natural progression. When something works you run with it;  and they are running - coast to coast, where ever the wind takes them. Their fan base grows with every tour, and touring is all they want to do. This band is built for the road, ready to folk up your world.

The First CD was released Feb / 10! So please stay tuned and join them in this quest, the support will be much appreciated!

"Hashmagandy" officially hit the stage October 2009 performing original material from three singer songwriters. Add a dash of percussion and there you have it - Musical Stew!!

Toni has opened for numerous recording acts such as Michael Martin Murphy, Mad Pudding, Gary Fjellgaard, Dick Dameron, Great Western Orchestra and Pam Tillis. Most recently, Toni has opened for Kate Reid, Leeroy Stagger, and Women in the Round ( Kate Reid, Joanna Chapman-Smith, and Sarah Macdougall )


Bassist - Amy Bishop

Amy is no stranger to the Calgary Music scene and has been sharing her talents in the greater Calgary area for a good chunk of time.  She is a brilliant song writer and has a serious set of pipes!  Hashmagandy is fortunate to have her jump on board offering up her bass playing, vocals, songwriting and harmony!

Lead Guitarist - Carla Olive
Carla has a red guitar and a black guitar ... but that's not all.  Carla  sings lead, plays lead, sings harmony,  and is a writing machine.  Lucky for us she shares her work with Hashmagandy. We could go on and on and on about Carla and her many talents, instead you really just ought to come out and see for yourself.
Songbird - Toni Vere
Toni has performed in Austrailia, New Zealand, on a beach in Cuba one time and all over Canada.  Toni is a story tellin' song writin'  teller of tales, and loves to sing her songs, play her harp, sing back-ups and wail on her PRS.  Her boots are cool.  Check out the video.
 
So there you have it ... that's the line up plus anyone else who may happen to get up on stage with them .. cause you just never know what's going to happen next with these gals.   That's the reality when you're makin' STEW!
