"... everyone was there to cheer for Clapping Monkeys and started cheering even as they tuned up.

Biography
Cornelius and Brock met in the summer of 2010 and immediately began creating and crafting what later would be "Clapping Monkeys".
As musicians were recruited and the band began to take shape, an exciting and new sound was born.
Playing "Open Mic" nights didn't last long as the band was quickly noticed and welcomed into the "Southern Alberta music scene". Booking shows and playing at "Band Wars" created a following of relentlessly energetic fans.
Clapping Monkeys have been signed to Ghostwood Records, and are very excited to be playing this summers South Country Fair, as well as touring this summer to promote their debut album.
