In early 2003, the four members of this Alberta rock group played their first half hour live performance at a Battle of the Bands. Since that day, they have been delivering their brand of Rock in live performances around North America and gaining fans around the world through the internet.
By April of 2003, 2 Cubic Feet headed into the studio to record their first CD. After four long months, the four track CD was complete.
The CD was distributed throughout Alberta and British Columbia. With the CD's sold out and an overwhelming response from radio stations and club owners all across western Canada, the band began playing a series of shows throughout Southern Alberta.
In mid 2006, 2 Cubic Feet’s “Fragile” was featured in the full length film “The Phoenix Agenda”. The film was shown to a sold out crowd on opening night and played for several months all across Canada.
2 Cubic Feet continues to rise in popularity and the band is in great demand throughout Alberta and Western Canada. They have played shows at the top venues in many Western Canadian cities including Wild Bill’s in Banff and have opened for the Celtic smash Spirit of the West at Flames Central in Calgary.
No stranger to the stage, 2 Cubic Feet prides themselves on delivering a fast-paced, hard hitting rock show that will leave the crowds wanting more. Smooth vocals, fiery guitars, pounding bass and in your face drums only begin to describe the experience. With a vast array of cover tunes to cater to any crowd as well as an ever expanding cache of catchy original tunes, 2 Cubic Feet ignites the night and brings their fans along for the ride.
With a growing number of shows and a polished rock sound, 2 Cubic Feet will be releasing a new album of all original material in Winter 2010.
