BOOMTWANG is a band full of energy, fun, talent and variety.  Boomtwang can accommodate any venue and is a smash hit at all events.  Their wide variety of old and new country, classic rock, pop, 50’s,  60’s, and even a little blues as well as some Newfie please crowds.  

The band has tasteful players with about a hundred and five years experience between the them.

Sandy Lambert
Sandy was born and raised in Glovertown, N.F.L.D.  With musical talent on both sides of her family Sandy started singing at age 4.  It was then she knew that singing was what she wanted as a life long career.
Sandy’s down home personality and natural talent comes to life on stage. She lights up the stage with her Newfie sociables and charming stage presence. Her genre of music is unlimited, she plays a wide variety from Country, Classic Rock, 50-60’s, Blues and you guessed it Newfie.
Sandy came in 2nd place winner of the Country 105 Lammles Rising Star Contest at Ranchman’s in Calgary 2010; this award gave her more confidence to take on the music industry.  Now playing all over Alberta, Sandy continues her dream of entertaining audiences, meeting new fans and writing her own songs.  The next step for Sandy is to release an album; which is her life long dream.

Bruce Boehler
Bruce’s many talents are a great asset to Boomtwang,  His knowledge of music, instuments, and being a wonderful soundman make Boomtwang what they are. Bruce’s knowledge and skill stems from his many years of experience.  Bruce has played with several different groups.  He always put smiles on faces of those in the audience with his silly jokes and funny personality.  He also enjoys teaching music, with many students young and old.  Bruce started in the music business at a very young age.  Bruce went to Malaspina College in Nanaimo BC, where he studied music.   His drive for music has got him where he is today!!!
 

Sally Chappus
Sally comes to us with a wealth of experience having started playing drums at the age of 14 and touring by age 20. Over the years, Sally has had the opportunity to play everything from hard rock to light jazz which has established her as a versatile, well rounded, sought after player. Best known for strong groove and solid time, she has worked steady as a studio and performing drummer across Canada and the US.


Sally has toured with such notables as Debbie Lori Kaye (Tommy Hunter Show regular), The Raes (Television and Recording Artists) and David Clayton Thomas (Blood, Sweat & Tears) just to name a few.

This experience coupled with back-up vocals has been a welcome addition to Sandra Lambert’s band Boomtwang.

Allan Hennessey

Allan has been playing music his entire life.  He has perfected his craft to become an accomplished guitarist; his focused precision and diverse musical style are unparalleled.  Along with his talent, Allan's strong stage presence is defined by his laid back charm and witty sense of humor.

As both a studio guitarist and stage performer Allan has played with them all; the tours, the cities, the venues, and the bands are countless.
