More Brahms, please! A perfect mood for autumn, the Brahms Clarinet quintet is regarded as the composer’s supreme achievement in chamber music. But first, we ask you to look closely Behind the Red Door, a piece written by one of our very own Alberta composers: Arthur Bachmann. He writes, “I lived, for a while, in a small, older white house with blue trim, and with a beautiful burgundy red front door. This quartet, while not trying to be programmatic, draws from episodes of life from behind this colourful door.”
