in beautiful Vancouver and raised in British Columbia's spectacular
Fraser Valley, Trace got his musical beginnings in the family's basement
watching his father's band rehearse.
A few years later found Trace
sneakin in the back doors of local halls to play and sing a couple of
songs, then as a young adult playing in honky tonks all over the west as
a duo with his dad, Garry Garnett, was a great start to a long career.
Trace
toured through the 1990's with bands such as Lori Jordan, Lynda Scott
& Straight Goods, and Four Cryin Out Loud. He also played several
festivals, fairs and venues across Canada opening for other artists like
Michelle Wright, Patricia Conroy, Kentucky Headhunters and many more.
Providing
vocals on several commercial jingles was the beginning of Trace's
recording career and he is happy to be back in the studio again working
on his brand new CD.
After a short hiatus from the music
business Trace relocated to the Edmonton area and started up again
workin with great artists like Gord Matthews and countless other well
known musicians.
Humming a tune, singing a song, playing the guitar
or teaching lessons to young students is what you can expect from this
busy down-to-earth guy when he is not rehearsing or performing. Stay
tuned for lots more great music and a new CD!
