The Thrashers, comprised of Jesse Bercier (Guitar/Vocals), Sean G (Drums) and Iaian Loeppky (Bass/Vocals)
have one goal above all else: Create the aural equivalent to an outta-control, outta-this-world, teen-age beach party!
A goal the Winnipeg trio has seen realized night after night since April 2008 when they first debuted their unique
blend of 1950’s Rock & Roll, 1960’s Surf and 1970’s Punk. Fast, aggressive and most importantly fun music you can dance to
centering around far-out topics like sea monsters, zombies, mutant frog-men, robots, shark attacks and skateboarding.
In January of 2010 The Thrashers independently released their first recording, a five track EP titled “Man Re-EntersSea”
which sold hundreds of copies through only word of mouth promotion. Since then they have signed with Winnipeg based
Rock & Roll label Transistor 66 Record Company and released a full length album called “Make a Splash” which charted
nationally across Canada and became a summer favourite for many DJs. The Thrashers are currently promoting their latest
release; a 3 song skateboard themed 7" called Ramp Locals. Give in to irresistible Rock & Roll damnation!
The Thrashers are playing in your bars and shredding in your skate parks. Dance or Die!

The Escorts first caught a glimpse of themselves in a cracked mirror that
was jammed up with all their friends. The air was heavy and stale with
cheap beer and visions of Mick Jagger’s growling lips and Joey Ramone’s
torn and cocked jeans danced through the night. From this dingy basement
in downtown Calgary, the sounds of punk and roll inspired by NYC grit
in the ’70s, chasing after the New York Dolls,
the Ramones, Blondie and the rest of those beautiful nutjobs, snarled
and swaggered into the crisp midnight air. It was November 2011 when the
first chords of this blend of lascivious punk rang out and hips haven’t
stopped gyrating around exposed jugulars since then.
The
Escorts are punk made into carnal desire, dripping with sex and sweat.
It’s for rock and roll nurses that go straight to your head; it’s for
weirdo aliens who spend their late nights howlin’ at the moon; it’s for
broken instruments and heads full of unlikely dreams. They’re as trashy
as they are fabulous, a messy, bluesy brand of fuck-punk with stunning
good looks and whiskey charm. Go on, shotgun another beer, they’re not
going to bed anytime soon.
With ragged, breathless
anticipation, each live show brings the Escorts one step closer to
immortality so that they can one day die. The Escorts are not whores,
but, c’mon, baby, they’ll make sure you don’t go home alone tonight.
Independent dark funk psychedelic rock band from Lethbridge. We don't
take our selves too seriously and love playing live. Funky rhythm,
catchy tunes, tongue in cheek lyrics, and just having fun while rocking
your socks off.

This three-piece garage rock(and roll) band of almost twentysomethings
have set out on a voyage to bring rock music back into the Canadian
music scene by impregnating the minds of young, impressionable,
adolescents with bright trebly guitarbage, fuzzy overpowering bass
grooves, bursting post-tempo drum beats, and not quite incoherent
anti-poetic lyrics.
