After a few years of touring nationally, playing everywhere from cramped kitchens to sold out auditoriums, Thunder Bay Ontario's Greenbank Trio are getting a taste for life on the road... and they want more. Quickly becoming known for their three-part harmony vocals and upbeat retro 60's sound, these northern troubadours deliver a musical experience not to be missed.
The group's self titled Greenbank EP (2012), described as "a feel-good, folk-rock romp" (NewCanadianMusic.ca) grabbed the attention of Ontario audiences, landing the threesome opening slots for groups like Chicago, REO Speedwagon, and Leann Rimes. The Trio's second effort, Into the Wind (EP, 2014), takes listeners on a journey across time and place. From stormy Atlantic seas, to cold winter nights in snowy Thunder Bay, a clear merging of past and present seems to take place as these boys begin to play.
