Biography

Stars from Streetlights is a band originating from Lethbridge, AB. It was formed by artists Steve Birss and Austrian Graf when they began writing together in July of 2009. They added new member Ray Banman in the fall of 2010. Austrian brings a smooth and emotional texture to Steve's glitchy electronic beats. These things paired with Ray's melodic and driving bass lines, provide for a unique listening experience. Stars from Streetlights likes to use a variety of instruments to create their sound, from analog monosynths, to digital software, to a 30 year old Rhodes. Together the trio displays the emotional side of electronic music, classifying their genre as 'emotronic.' Stars From Streetlights will be releasing their first album in March 2012.
