En passant / By the way Western Canadian Music Awards Nominee for "Francophone Album of the Year"
Since 2005, the duo "Vazzy" has entertained audiences from Vancouver Island to Newfoundland and in the US. The two talented musicians offer a warm, dynamic and engaging performance of traditional French-Canadian music.
Vazzy's repertoire includes beautiful ballads and lively humorous songs from the French-Canadian tradition, as well as toe-tapping fiddle and dance tunes from the French, Celtic, Metis and Canadian musical traditions.
The two musicians love of travel, people and cultures from around the globe has taken them to many places…It is reflected in their music.
Keeping "French-Candian Trad" alive and well in Western Canada, Vazzy has called British-Columbia home for many years. When playing for anglophone audiences, the two musicians, fluent French and English speakers, share the stories behind their songs, so everyone can appreciate and enjoy the language, the music and the culture.
