We love to play French Canadian, and Canadian trad acoustic music. Suzanne calls dances, we sit in at contra dances when possible, and we always check out any sessions when we,re on the road, as we really enjoy playing casually with people with similar musical interests. We also seek out folk music festivals in order to keep our horizons broad, and meet other players, and just enjoy the music! We also tour schools with our family and young audience show Vazzy en Nouvelle France,which is a great fun, interactive way of passing on this music to the coming generations.

Vazzy is a musical duo with Suzanne Leclerc on vocals, harmonica, foot percussion, spoons, and hand drums. Bryn Wilkin on fiddle, banjo, mandolin, oud and early guitar. We play music and songs from Acadia, Quebec, France, and the Celtic world.

Description

The Cave is the student lounge area located between the College Centre Core and the Physical Education Building. It provides a relaxed area where students can meet and discuss their classes over a coffee or snack. Food Services provides hot and cold drinks, pastries, subs, smokies, burgers, chili, pizza, soups and salads, nachos and various snacks.
