Tallest To Shortest (Edmonton) Tallest to Shortest are unable to play due to being in a car accident en route to Waterton Friday. Fortunately everybody escaped with their lives.
From their Facebook page: Everyone, I'm not posting this to be gratuitous, but sharing this is the
quickest way to get the word out to some of our people who should be in
the know. We (Sean Brewer, Corey Motz and myself - Tallest to Shortest)
were 45 mins from Waterton where we were supposed to play tonight when
we crested a hill on a secondary highway with one lane both ways, we
were going regular highway speed and at the top of a hill was a very old
van, that an old man was 'limping home,' after it broke down. He was
going about 30 k's and we were going 105 or so, and it was like hitting a
wall. We all should be dead. Believe it or not, both of our vehicles
were headed the opposite direction that we ended up in this picture, so
we went fully 180 degrees and flipped on our side and ended up with the
older van on top of us. We are now in Fort Macleod, Sean is still in the
hospital, but he IS okay. He's actually been cleared, but he is in the
most pain, so he's staying the night. I have a bruised face, my nose was
almost broken and sore ribs, but I've been cleared and so has Corey, he
has a sprained thumb and some other stuff, but we're at a hotel now.
There was glass embedded in my head and face and everyone else's, though
I got the most windshield and the dirt of the ditch and broken stuff,
as I ended up on the bottom of the flipped van. Obviously we're not
playing in lethbridge tomorrow and didn't make it to waterton (and this
kills us, we were so excited about seeing waterton again and we were
going to visit writing on stone tomorrow too), but it's a miracle we're
all alive. We've been told that by many EMTs and a few doctors, an
absolute miracle. The man from the old van is also fine. We had the van
full of 100s of pounds of gear with us and we're lucky that didn't crush
us as well, though our guitars and everything are probably destroyed.
We were in a brand new rental van with full insurance, that covers the
vehicle, but not the gear. Maybe it's okay though, we'll see it
tomorrow. I think being in a brand new 2016 Caravan is part of what
saved us, lots of air bags and construction that kept our legs from
being crushed. I can't believe Sean and I have been on the road for 15
years and this finally caught up to us. Anyways, we've got a lot to deal
with here and can't message everyone so I'm going to tag a bunch of
people here so everyone knows we're okay. Guys in Lethbridge, we won't
be there tomorrow! We will be in touch. We're so upset about everything,
but we're so thankful to be alive, and so thankful for the first
responders who were there so quickly. Lots of love to everyone!

Tallest to Shortest surfs genres and bends rules with unpredictable, reckless abandon. The power trio turns heads at every show and then makes those heads bounce with gratitude.
Made up of members of The Uncas, Red Ram, Switchmen and The Fails –
Sean Brewer, Mark Feduk and Corey Motz never fail to sway the crowd.
Brewer and Feduk are no strangers to the Canadian music scene, having
toured the country multiple times with previous bands. The experience
garnered from these endeavours has helped create Tallest to Shortest.

This is a group of fellas from the southern region of alberta. We love
playing rock and roll while wasting away. Through multiple
reincarnations the groups energy has remained purple.

Not only do we have the best pizza in town, we are also the center of Lethbridge's NightLife.
We are the only bar in town featuring live music every day of the week. Canadian touring artists, local legends and new emerging artists, everyone stops here.
