On July 30, 2016 a committee of various community
agencies will be hosting the fifth annual Shelter Me! Party in the Park
Festival. Shelter Me! Party in the Park is a family fun event, with the
main message of encouraging inclusiveness in the Galt Gardens Park. It
is an opportunity for all community members to come together and learn
more about homelessness and issues around homelessness (addiction,
poverty, housing availability, mental health, etc). In the past we have
offered many family friendly activities, as well as live entertainment
and a resource fair for agencies share information about issues related
to homelessness. Furthermore agencies will be sharing available supports
for all community members in Lethbridge in our Open Air Market.
There will be kids games and crafts, Bouncy Castles and a Dunk Tank!
Also live entertainment from local talent and a low cost concession for a
hot dog, chips and pop! Come out and have a great family time!

metal along with some ska and reggae flavours to create some superb
stylistic music.
