Alyssa McQuaid ks a20-year-old singer/songwriter from Lethbridge Alberta Canada, and I would love to welcome you to my page! She has been singing since I was 11. The first time I ever preformed for an audience was at a Christmas party at my Aunt's house in Pense Saskatchewan. I sang Frosty the Snowman and from that moment on, I fell in love. I picked up a guitar when I turned 14 and I realized that when you can accompany yourself, then you can make things more interesting; make other people's stories your own. I have always written poetry in my notebooks throughout school, but started writing music when I was 15. Perfect is the first full song I ever wrote. I love writing my own music, but I also think that there is a magical sort of beauty in telling other people's stories through cover songs! These songs are my stories, and my versions of other people's stories... I hope you enjoy! A little bit about me: I think that life is simple; be a good person and live in love. I believe in love more than I believe in anything else. I also believe in music and cheesy movies and I live for all the little moments that give you goosebumps. I believe in fairytales. My eyes are very green. I think that there is beauty in everything and everyone, all you have to do is find it. I really want to be someone. I love little kids - they are innocent and honest and beautiful. I am stubborn, and a hard worker. I love teddy bears and big black pick up trucks. My one true love is, and always will be my Taylor guitar. I love every kind of music, but my heart truly belongs to country.
